Working Groups are the heart of Community Capitalism
Steering Committee: Formed in the spring of 2010, this group of ten members who represent all other working groups, meets monthly. The goals of the steering committee are to be a communication conduit as well as shape the overall vision for Licking County Community Capitalism. Contact the Steering Committee.
Access to Higher Education: Formed to provide Licking County students access to education and training beyond high school, this group is very active. Go to the Access to Higher Education page here.
Education Community-Support: Formed to support public education in Licking County in a multitude of facets, this group also has the ongoing effort of helping local school districts try to educate voters on the value of passing school levies. Go the the Education Community-Support page here.
Internships: Originally part of the Access to Higher Education group, this working group acts as a liaison between schools and employers in providing students with essential learning and working opportunities in Licking County. Go to the Internship page here.
Talent: The goal of the Talent group is the develop, recruit, and retain young talent in Licking County. Go to the Talent page here.
Marketing: This group is now housed with the Steering Committee. The goals are to unite the efforts of the working groups and to keep all participants and supporters informed. Marketing also makes media contacts, updates Blogspot, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and this website.
