Internships
According to the Retention and Expansion efforts of Rob Klinger, 98% of businesses and manufacturers in Licking County say they would use interns if they were readily available. Thus, the Internships Group is working to make the connections and provide the opportunities for both Licking County students and businesses and manufacturers.
The Internships Group worked extensively on a grant from The Ohio Board of Regents, and despite high hopes, did not receive the funding for an Internships website. It now appears that Licking County will soon have its own link on Ohio Means Jobs where available internships will be listed and businesses and manufacturers can post their needs, as well.
